Travelling north on the west side of the island place called Agros, 9 km from Vathy, is a dirt road 3 km long reaching down to the small village of Agios Ioanis (St. John).
The descent can also be made from the village of Lefki, using another road 3k length, passing through fertile land which is full of vineyards and olive trees. Near the church stand a few houses where only five families live.
They cultivate the land and the surrounding area. This beautiful inhabitation is situated just above the sea, opposite the Cefallonian coast.
The beautiful clean beach is long and the plants and trees of the mountains almost meet the waves.
This excellent beach is never crowded since very few people decide to go down, therefore isolation is almost assured.
