This nice bay is just 4 kilometres south of Skopelos Town, accessible by local bus or private car.
Because of the proximity of this beach from the town and its beauty, it is one of the most popular beaches on the island, so often very crowded.
This bay owns its name to the Minoan king Staphylos who is supposed to have disembarked in this cove.
