Beach Description:

Banana Beach is the name given to a small group of three beautiful naturist beaches at the south western tip of Skiathos, a small Greek Island in the Aegean close to the Pellion Peninsula and the city of Volos where, it is claimed, Jason sailed from in his search for the Golden Fleece.

The three beaches that make up Banana Beach are Little Banana (sometimes called Sparticus), Big Banana and a small beach separated from Big Banana by a rocky outcrop. All three are frequented by naturists from all over Europe and have been so for many years but the main naturist areas are on Little Banana and the small beach beyond the outcrop.
You don't have to be naked to enjoy Banana Beach, in fact more than half the visitors are not naturists but simply people who go there to enjoy the beauty of the beach, the crystal clear warm water and the fabulous forest backdrop.

The view across the sea to the Pelion from Banana Beach is stunning and dolphins can often be seen playing just off the coast.
